BACK AT THE ST. PAUL HOTEL AGAIN!
Jeff will be returning for a THIRD year as bassist for vocalist/pianist JoAnn Funk playing in the Lobby Bar of the St. Paul Hotel (nearly) every Saturday for the rest of 2010. The duo has achieved a near telepathic rapport in the varied repertoire of standards and little-known gems from the 20's to the 2000's. JEFF APPEARS WITH THE NOWNET ON YOUTUBE
On July 23 jazz videographer extraordinaire Don Berryman shot Jeff playing with the Nownet while performing trumpeter Kelly Rossum's "Seduction" at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis. Jeff now regularly performs with this band, sharing the bass chair with his former teacher, bass virtuoso Anthony Cox. (Check out the bass solo at 7:00!)
